• Wall Hung basins - In keeping with the style & design of wall hung toilets, this option looks great when installed but please consult your installer before going ahead and ordering. Make sure the pipework can be installed into the wall & that the wall will take the weight of the basin. A wall hung basin frame is available.
• Semi - Recessed Basin - This basin is designed to fit into bathroom furniture, the basin has a bow in the front but has been cut away to the rear underside, so it can be installed into a worktop. This can also be installed into a pre built and tiled boxing in.
• Basin & Pedestal - The most common type of basin in the u.k, where the basin sits on a full sized pedestal directly onto the floor. Usually the Hot & Cold water pip & waste pipe run through the pedestal and into the floor.
• Basin & Semi Pedestal - This option is where the basin sits on a half height pedestal which is wall mounted. Care should be taken before buying this type of basin, make sure your wall is strong enough to take the weight & also that the pipework can be installed into the wall. Please consult your installer before purchasing this option.
• Cloakroom Basins - These are usually fitted without pedestals because they are usually so small & no pedestal gives the feeling of space, be sure to finish the look off with a chrome bottle trap for the maximum design statement.
• Countertop Basins - This style of basin usually fits into a worktop and are supplied with an option of round or oval designs. I have also seen this type of basin set into a tiled worktop.
